AI Engineer
You will build the agent systems inside the product.
You’ll turn frontier models into agents that can operate inside company-building workflows: finding demand, acquiring customers, delivering work, and producing traces we can train from and verify. You’ll sit between research, product, and incubation teams, shipping the systems that make EICO’s models useful in the world.
What you’ll own:
- 01Agent backends and harnesses for company-building workflows.
- 02Model adaptation: prompting, fine-tuning, post-training, RAG, tool use, inference routing, planning, and memory.
- 03Evals and feedback loops that measure whether agents are improving against real business outcomes.
- 04Internal AI systems that help incubation teams move faster and generate better company-building traces.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong software engineering ability in Python, TypeScript, or both.
- Deep familiarity with LLMs, agents, evals, fine-tuning, and modern AI tooling.
- Has built real things with models: agents, evals, fine-tunes, RAG systems, tool-use systems, or production AI workflows.
- Can debug model behavior, data quality, tool failures, latency, and backend issues.
- Strong engineer: can ship production systems, not just notebooks.
- Strong product sense: cares whether the system works for real users and real workflows.
- High-agency builder who can own ambiguous work end to end.
