Software Engineer, Data Collection
You will build the systems that source, generate, review, and refine the data EICO’s models learn from.
The data we care about is not generic internet text; it is traces of company-building work: demand signals, customer conversations, agent actions, delivery attempts, failures, outcomes, and verified revenue events. You’ll build the machinery that makes that data useful.
What you’ll own:
- 01Collection systems and integrations across the tools and workflows where company-building happens.
- 02Instrumentation for agent actions, human feedback, customer interactions, delivery quality, and outcomes.
- 03Human-in-the-loop tools for review, labeling, feedback, and evaluation.
- 04Dataset coverage, quality, freshness, permissions, and provenance.
What we’re looking for:
- Full-stack pragmatism: can stand up a crawler, internal tool, integration, and pipeline.
- Experience with data collection, third-party integrations, web-scale collection, annotation, or human data operations.
- Strong Python or TypeScript, with enough backend depth to build reliable systems.
- Good judgment about data quality and the diligence to enforce it.
- Cares about reviewer experience, instrumentation, privacy, and operational detail.
- Comfortable working across engineering, research, and incubation teams.
- High-agency builder who can create the first version from zero.
